SEEING OUR LORD　　　October 1
私たちの主を見る。

　　　After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up
　　　together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.
　　　And so we will be with the Lord forever.

　　　それから、生き残っている私たちが、彼らと一緒に雲に包ま
　　　れて引き上げられ、空中で主と会うのです。こうして私たち
　　　は、いつまでも主とともにいることになります。

We will all be taken up to the Lord together at the same time, both those
who previously died and those who live until Christ’s coming. In one
moment, all will hover together and see each other again.

キリストの来臨までに既に死んだ者も、また生きている者も、私たちは
みな、共に同時に主の許に引き上げられるでしょう。全ての者は一瞬の
うちに空中に浮きあがって停止し、再び互いを見るでしょう。

Although we who are still living will have our eyes wide open, we will not
see the Lord Christ before those who have died.

今も生きている私たちは目を大きく開いても、既に死んだ者たちよりも
前に主キリストを見ることはないでしょう。

It would make more sense that we, who are still living, should be the first
to see the Lord, because the dead have long since decayed and, to our
thinking, are no more.

死者はずっと昔に朽ちていて、私たちの考えでは既にいないので、私た
ち生きている者が最初に主を見るのは、より道理にかなっているように
思えます。

But Christ has determined that the dead will rise with us at the same
moment and will have beautiful eyes that see as well as we do.

しかし、死者が私たちと同時に起き上がり、私たちと同様によく見える
美しい目を持つようになることを、キリストは決定されたのです。

God will do for Christians what he did for Christ. He pulled Christ out
from the closed and sealed grave in an instant, so quickly that in one
moment he was both in and out.

神はキリストにされた事を、クリスチャンにもされるでしょう。神は
キリストを閉ざされて封印された墓の中から一瞬のうちに引き出され
ました。それは非常に速かったので、彼は同じ瞬間に墓の中と外にお
られたのです。

So in the last moment, God will bring together both. He will bring us,
who are still alive and have our five senses, together with those who are
dead, decayed, pulverized, and scattered all over the world.

それで、最後の時には、神は両者をまとめるでしょう。神は、私たち生
きていて五感を持っている者と、死んで腐敗し、粉々にされて世界中に
散らされた者たちを一緒にまとめられるでしょう。

We will all, at the same time, be drawn to heaven and soar in the clouds.
We will be lighter than the birds and much more beautiful than the sun.

私たちはみな、同時に天に引き上げられ、雲の中に舞い上がるでしょう。
私たちは鳥たちよりも軽く、太陽よりずっと美しくなるでしょう。
