Psalm102 　詩篇第102篇　　Part1

1.　　Hear my prayer, O LORD;
　　　let my cry come to you!

　　　主よ　私の祈りを聞いてください。
　　　私の叫びが　あなたに届きますように。

2.　　Do not hide your face from me in the day of my distress!
　　　Incline your ear to me; answer me speedily
　　　in the day when I call!

　　　私の苦しみのときに　御顔を私に隠さないでください。
　　　私に耳を傾けてください。私が呼ぶときに
　　　すぐに私に答えてください。

3.　　For my days pass away like smoke,
　　　and my bones burn like a furnace.

　　　私の日は煙の中に尽き果て
　　　私の骨は炉のように燃えているのです。

4.　　My heart is struck down like grass and has withered;
　　　I forget to eat my bread.

　　　私の心は　青菜のように打たれて　しおれ
　　　パンを食べることさえ忘れました。

5.　　Because of my loud groaning my bones cling to my flesh.

　　　私の嘆きの声で　私の骨は肉に溶けてしまいました。

6.　　I am like a desert owl of the wilderness,
　　　like an owl of the waste places;

　　　私はまるで荒野のみみずく
　　　廃墟のふくろうのようです。

7.　　I lie awake;
　　　I am like a lonely sparrow on the housetop.

　　　私は眠ることもできず
　　　屋根の上の　はぐれた鳥のようになりました。

8.　　All the day my enemies taunt me;
　　　those who deride me use my name for a curse.

　　　敵は絶えず私をそしり
　　　嘲る者は私を名指しにして毒づきます。

9.　　For I eat ashes like bread
　　　and mingle tears with my drink,

　　　まことに　私は灰をパンのように食べ
　　　飲み物に涙を混ぜ合わせました。

10. 　because of your indignation and anger;
　　　for you have taken me up and thrown me down.

　　　それはあなたが　憤りと激しい怒りのゆえに
　　　私を持ち上げ　私を投げ捨てられたからです。

11. 　My days are like an evening shadow;
　　　I wither away like grass.

　　　私の日は　伸びていく夕影のようです。
　　　私は　青菜のようにしおれています。

12. 　But you, O LORD, are enthroned forever;
　　　you are remembered throughout all generations.

　　　しかし　主よあなたはとこしえに御座に着いておられます。
　　　あなたの呼び名は代々に及びます。



(解説)
The 102nd psalm is a psalm of prayer. In it the fathers of old---
weary of laws, of sins, and of death---wholeheartedly yearn and call
for the kingdom of grace promised in Christ.

詩篇第102篇は、祈りの詩です。その中で年老いた父たちは、律法に疲れ、
罪に疲れ、死に疲れて、心の底からキリストの中に約束された、恩恵の王国
を心から慕い求め、呼び求めます。

They ask that God yet again build up Zion and set in place her stones
and dust, that He would yet again enter in and let His glory be seen in
all kingdoms, that He would rescue His captives from sin and death
so that they may come together and thank Him---that is, that they may
worship Him in the true Zion---and the Old Testament come to an end.

彼らは尋ねます。神は再びシオンを建て、その石や埃を収められるかと。神
は再びシオンに入られ、その栄光を全ての王国に現されるかと。また神はそ
の虜囚である民を罪と死から救い出し、彼らが共にシオンに来て神に感謝す
るようにされるかと。そうなれば彼らは真のシオンで神を拝するようになり
旧約聖書は終わります。

For without Christ there is indeed nothing but strength broken in the
middle of life and days cut short, that is, a miserable, short, wretched
life from which the psalmist is reluctantly removed.

なぜならキリストなしでは、力は人生の途中で衰弱し、寿命は短くなり、他
には何もなくなります。それは、惨めで短い哀れな人生であり、詩人はその
人生から不承不承取り除かれるのです。

But in His kingdom is eternal life, and His time has no end. He is
the one who was before He created heaven and earth, and will again
change and renew them.

しかし彼の王国には永遠の生命があり、彼の時間には終りはありません。
彼は、彼が天地を造られる前から存在した者であり、そして彼は再び天地
を変え、新しくされるのです。

Therefore, He is outside of and over all time. His year has no end
and there is no dying there. This kingdom we will gladly receive.
May such a kingdom, Your kingdom, come! Amen.

Bow down Your gracious ear to me
　　And hear my cry, my prayer, my plea;
　　Make haste for my protection,
　　For woes and fear Surround me here.

　　急いで私を守りに来てください。

You are my strength, my shield, my rock,
　　My fortress that withstands each shock,
　　My help, my life, my tower,
　　My battle sword, Almighty Lord---
　　Who can resist Your power?
