81. 　My soul longs for your salvation;
　　　I hope in your word.

　　　私のたましいは　あなたの救いを慕って　絶え入るばかりです。
　　　私はあなたのみことばを待ち望んでいます。

82. 　My eyes long for your promise;
　　　I ask, “When will you comfort me?”

　　　私の目は　あなたのみことばを慕って　絶え入るばかりです。
　　　私は言います。「いつあなたは私を慰めてくださるのですか」と。

83. 　For I have become like a wineskin in the smoke,
　　　yet I have not forgotten your statutes.

　　　たとえ煙の中の皮袋のようになっても

84. 　How long must your servant endure?
　　　When will you judge those who persecute me?

　　　このしもべの日数は　どれだけでしょうか。

85. 　The insolent have dug pitfalls for me;
　　　they do not live according to your law.

　　　高ぶる者は私に対して穴を掘りました。

86. 　All your commandments are sure;
　　　they persecute me with falsehood; help me!

87. 　They have almost made an end of me on earth,
　　　but I have not forsaken your precepts.

89. 　Forever, O LORD,
　　　your word is firmly fixed in the heavens.

90. 　Your faithfulness endures to all generations;
　　　you have established the earth, and it stands fast.

　　　あなたの真実は代々に至ります。
　　　あなたが地を据えられたので　地は堅く立っています。

91. 　By your appointment they stand this day,
　　　for all things are your servants.

　　　それらは今日も　あなたの定めにしたがって
　　　堅く立っています。
　　　万物はあなたのしもべだからです。

92. 　If your law had not been my delight,
　　　I would have perished in my affliction.

　　　もし　あなたのみおしえが私の喜びでなかったら
　　　それなら私は　私の苦しみの中で滅んだでしょう。

93. 　I will never forget your precepts,
　　　for by them you have given me life.

　　　私は決して　あなたの戒めを忘れません。
　　　それによって　あなたが　私を生かしてくださったからです。

94. 　I am yours; save me,
　　　for I have sought your precepts.

　　　私はあなたのもの。　どうか私をお救いください。

95. 　The wicked lie in wait to destroy me,
　　　but I consider your testimonies.

　　　悪者どもは私を滅ぼそうと狙っています。
　　　しかし私は　あなたのさとしを聞き分けます。

96. 　I have seen a limit to all perfection,
　　　but your commandment is exceedingly broad.

　　　私は　どんな全きものにも　終わりがあることを見ました。
　　　しかし　あなたの仰せは実に広いのです。


(PRAYER 祈り)
Spirit of the living God, teach us to know and to consider the vanity of
all earthly things, that we may be made truly wise to lay up for ourselves
treasures in heaven, that our souls may not be left empty.

生ける神の霊よ、地上のものは全て空しいことを知り、それを考慮にいれる
ことを教えてください。それによって、私たちが賢くされ、自分のために天
に宝を積み、私たちのたましいが空虚のままにされることがありませんよう
に。

Cause Your Word to grow in us, and to bring fruit which will remain unto
eternal life. Amen.
