97.　　OH how I love your law!
　　　It is my meditation all the day.

　　　どれほど私は　あなたのみおしえを愛していることでしょう。
　　　それがいつも　私の思いとなっています。

98.　　Your commandment makes me wiser than my enemies,
　　　for it is ever with me.

　　　あなたの仰せは　私を敵よりも賢くします。
　　　それがとこしえに私のものだからです。

99.　　I have more understanding than all my teachers,
　　　for your testimonies are my meditation.

　　　私には　私のすべての師にまさる賢さがあります。
　　　あなたのさとしが私の思いだからです。

100. 　I understand more than the aged,
　　　for I keep your precepts.

　　　私は　老人たちよりも見極めができます。
　　　私があなたの戒めを守っているからです。

101. 　I hold back from every evil way,
　　　in order to keep your word.

　　　私はいかなる悪の道にも　足を踏み入れません。
　　　あなたのみことばを守るためです。

102. 　I do not turn aside from your just decrees,
　　　for you have taught me.

　　　私はあなたの定めから外れませんでした。
　　　あなたが私を教えられたからです。

103. 　How sweet are your words to my taste,
　　　sweeter than honey to my mouth!

　　　あなたのみことばは　私の上あごになんと甘いことでしょう。
　　　蜜よりも私の口に甘いのです。

104. 　Through your precepts I get understanding;
　　　therefore I hate every false way.

　　　私にはあなたの戒めがあり　見極めができます。
　　　それゆえ　私は偽りの道をことごとく憎みます。

105. 　Your word is a lamp to my feet
　　　and a light to my path.

　　　あなたのみことばは　私の足のともしび
　　　私の道の光です。

106. 　I have sworn an oath and confirmed it,
　　　to keep your just and righteous decrees.

　　　私は誓い　また　それを果たします。
　　　あなたの義の定めを守ることを。

107. 　I am severely afflicted;
　　　give me life, O LORD, according to your word!

　　　私はひどく苦しんでいます。
　　　主よ　みことばのとおりに私を生かしてください。

108. 　Accept my freewill offerings of praise, O LORD,
　　　and teach me your just decrees.

　　　どうか　私の口から出る進んで献(ささ)げるものを
　　　受け入れてください。主よ。
　　　あなたのさばきを私に教えてください。

109. 　I hold my life in my hand continually,
　　　but I do not forget your law.

　　　私は　いつもいのちがけです。
　　　それでも　あなたのみおしえを忘れません。

110. 　The wicked have laid a snare for me,
　　　but I do not stray from your precepts.

　　　悪者どもは私に対して罠を設けました。
　　　それでも私は　あなたの戒めから迷い出ません。

111. 　Your testimonies are my heritage forever,
　　　for they are the joy of my heart.

　　　私はあなたのさとしを永遠に受け継ぎました。
　　　これこそ　私の心の喜びです。

112. 　I incline my heart to perform your statutes
　　　forever, to the end.

　　　私は　あなたのおきてを行うことに心を傾けます。
　　　いつまでも　終わりまでも。


(PRAYER 祈り)
Thanks be to You, God of all wisdom, that You have given us Your Word,
in which You teach us the true wisdom.

全知の源である神様、あなたに感謝します。あなたは御言葉を私たちにお与え
になり、その中で私たちに真の知恵を教えてくださいました。

Guard us from the seductions of science falsely so called, and keep us
in the faith of Your Word, which enlightens the soul unto eternal life.
So draw us to Your Son, that we hear His voice and follow Him. Amen.

不正に科学と呼ばれているものから私たちをお守りください。そしてあなた
の御言葉を信じる信仰の中にお守りください。御言葉こそたましいを啓発し
